The research on walking canes explored cultural connotations of the once highly regarded walking cane, which is now reduced to a stigmatizing walking-aid. Lisa used a standard cane for one month trying to put herself in the position of the user. Bsed on this data we developed the concept of a new walking cane design. Canella’s concept aims to reposition the product as a functional fashion accessory for modern dandies, old and young likewise.
