"Familienmacher" documents everyday family practices of capturing, connecting and divesting. Traditions and "the perfect family" are explored as well as aspirations and new ways of life. The show is based on an interdisciplinary ethnography in the 8th and 16th district in Vienna. Open show cases feature space for brought family object and an oversized family album changes in the course of the exhibition.
