What does hygiene mean in the twenty-first century? What are our hygiene nightmares on the one hand and what doesn’t really bother us on the other?

DANKLHAMPEL asked visitors to the Imperial Furniture Collection to list their favourite sanitary products and describe their daily personal hygiene rituals and compulsions. Excerpts from forty completed questionnaires can be seen as installations in the five visitors’ toilets of the Imperial Furniture Collection and are also featured in a „toilet newspaper“ created for the exhibition.
