In our project for Staud's we worked around the appearance of non-returnable jars on kitchen tables and shelves.

We crowned jam jars and pickled vegetable jars with familiar objects from the average household. The intuitive and playful combination creates unique and valuable objects. 

Each of the jar-lid combinations tells its own little story. Alltogether they form a colorful collection of miniatures - some friendly, some stubborn - and a curious panorama of Austrian eating culture. The beauty is in the ordinary.
